The New York facility has a 1800 skid capacity within 5 different cooling chambers assuring the proper temperature and conditions for all products.
Rotation is strictly adhered to through computer generated inventory systems,
thus guaranteeing quality control.
Merex Corp. also has full infrastructure capabilities within a mile of
the airport in Santiago, Chile and in Miami, FL. Miami is the major point
of entry for most Latin American produce shipped via air and sea.
Merex Direct Sales
In
addition to TWO major markets, Merex Corp. brokers commodity items directly
from the piers. Pier pick-up usually results in savings of 10 percent
or more.
Major Direct Sales items from Merex include clementines, mangoes, tomatoes,
asparagus, peppers, Chilean grapes, sweet onions, lemons, limes, oranges
and melons.

Stores
The company actively promotes "contract" growing to chainstores specifically
fixed seasonal pricing with guaranteed quality. These contracts include,
among others, Hothouse Peppers, clementines from Spain, vine tomatoes
(year round) from Spain and/or Israel and/or Holland, asparagus from Chile
and Peru, berries, stonefruit (air) and specialty grapes from Chile. Merex
maintains an active private label program which is a very important part

Food Service
The company policy... availability and through trade show participation
and advertising. We do not sell to our customers' customers, that is,
hotels, restaurants or cruise lines. More than 200 quality items including
hard to find counter seasonal produce and added value items like peeled
product most of which is processed in N.Y. and Miami.
