Merex L.A. also imports carambola and litchee from Taiwan (July to September) and ginger from Thailand (November to May.) Merex also sources product from Mexico including blackberries, Haas avocado, mangoes, jicama, seedless watermelons, tomatillos and fresh garlic. Merex also consolidates hard to find California exotic products from smaller specialty growers.
